Recognizing that there are unique challenges that come with the exciting transition from childhood to adolescence, the Rising Disciples ministry is designed to support our preteens and their families both spiritually and personally.
Who We Are
The Rising Disciples Ministry is for preteen students in grades 5 and 6. During this transitional stage, we understand that preteens are not children, and they are not quite youth. Therefore we have designed a ministry to help them “bridge the gap” so that they can emerge into adolescence as faithful followers of Jesus Christ! Our desire is to help each student ignite a passion for God, connect with others and discover their gifts so that they can reach out and serve the church and community.

Our Rising Disciples Ministry is designed so that students will grow in their Christian friendships as well as develop mentoring relationships with leaders.
One thing we can count on with students this age is that they are constantly changing! And all of this change can be a real challenge both for students and parents. Our desire is to walk alongside you and your student in this exciting time. We're here because we love this age and because we believe this is a critical stage of development physically, emotionally and spiritually. As students make decisions about who they'll become and what they’ll believe, we want to be there to point them toward God and His truth.
