History

In 2003, Faith Presbyterian Church started as a fellowship of First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth meeting in members’ East Parker County homes. By September 2003, we were conducting worship services and church school in the Aledo Middle School. In July 2006, we met our goal of becoming a new church development of the Presbyterian Church (USA). And in December 2006, we became a fully chartered congregation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

In November, 2002, Grace Presbytery, the governing body for Presbyterian (USA) churches in this region, purchased 10 acres in Aledo for a new church. Faith Presbyterian opened its first facility on this site, located on Bailey Ranch Road (near Aledo High School) in May 2009.

Mission

Our Mission is to actively invite and encourage people to enter and deepen their personal journey of faith in Jesus Christ and extend Christ’s love and grace to each other and the world around us.

Vision

Our vision is to be a community of faith in action where people find and grow into the very personal and unique relationship God desires to have with each one of us through faith in Jesus Christ; and actively live out the life God desires for us as we extend the love and care and gospel of Jesus Christ to the world around us.

Our Mission is to actively invite and encourage people to enter and deepen their personal journey of faith in Jesus Christ and extend Christ’s love and grace to each other and the world around us.
